Musings on chain restaurant names

I wonder if the name of American concept restaurant chain Cracker Barrel Old Country Store was an intentional double entendre

  1. I know what a double entendre is, but I’m struggling a bit to find one in “Cracker Barrel Old Country Store.” Maybe it’s because I’m a girl? Please explain to me over dinner. Thanks! - The Wife

  2. It’s not the type of double entendre that is sexual in nature; the idea of a barrel of crackers in a country store and the typical patronage (myself included) is what I was thinking of.
