I had a different problem with tigerdirect. I have N95-3 US version which after 10
months stopped working. So, I send it in with the tigerdirect invoice
to repair under warranty. They (Nokia) say that they will not repair
phones which do not have the serial number on the invoice. tigerdirect
refuses to put the serial number (of the phone) on the invoice, so I am
caught in between the two companies unable to get my phone serviced. Also,
since the phone is unlocked it has no activation from the phone company
(although it works perfectly well without one as it's a GSM phone). If
they do not find a solution, I wonder if I can report tigerdirect for
fraud for saying the phone is under warranty when it is not possible to
get it repaired.

This sucks. Tiget Direct sucks, I guess I don't have to tell you not to
buy anything from them again.

Hope you resolve the situation! Good luck.
