My definition of “Enterprise”

Bruce and I were talking yesterday about the nebulous term “enterprise” as used in software, and as I pondered that over my Rooibus tea with a queezy stomach, my definition of it materialized:

enterprise – The illusion of highly-mitigated risk in exchange for your money
